My Project
My students are voracious readers and have devoured almost all of the books in my classroom library. The titles in this donors choose project will be used for literature study and book club. The Tiger Rising, by Kate DiCamillo is our next literature study book. I just moved to fourth grade this year, so I really need a set to start our unit. Restart and Insignificant Events in The Life of a Cactus are book club favorites and with such a high demand we need a couple more. The Parker Inheritance, sounds like a fun mystery with relatable characters. I think it will be perfect for my fourth graders to dive into.
Books are the cornerstone of a strong literacy program and my students crave quality stories with a positive message. We would thrilled to have new books in our classroom to read, discuss, debate and learn from.
