This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Here at our STEAM Charter School, we strive to give our students hands-on project-based work. This project will allow our students to take a deep dive into the circulatory system by giving them the opportunity to dissect a pig heart in collaborative groups.

For this experience, the 4th grade team comes together and gives the students the chance to be " heart surgeons" in order to physically see how our hearts circulate blood.

This project gives students an experience like no other and creates a highly engaging learning environment. Please help us fund getting our pig hearts to give our learners a rich learning experience.
