Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I currently have lamps in the classroom and the students LOVE it! The only problem is that some areas of the classroom are darker than others. This makes it hard for some students to see. I also offer flexible seating at the front of the classroom. The seats will offer more options for my students.
The books will allow the opportunity for students to apply reciprocal teaching in book clubs.
Students will be able to use the sticky notes to mark pages in the book that they are reading. The cardstock and paintbrushes will offer more opportunities to practice art due to my school not offering an art class. Living in a place that gets snow during the winter we have a lot of indoor recess. The games will give the students more options of things they can do when we do have indoor recess.
