Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All of my students are Special Ed students who are in an Emotional Impaired Strand Classroom. Most of them come from disenfranchised neighborhoods in Boston, MA where often times resources are limited. But not my kids! My students are limitless, and beautiful little human beings from different backgrounds, that enjoys coming to school, and learning new things. They are special because they are typically considered the "underdogs", but with me as their teacher, I will make sure to give them 100 percent so they can come out on top! These materials will help my students immensely, because most of my students are visual and kinesthetic learners. They engage more in their learning when they are interactive with one another, as well as the lessons that's presented to them. All of the items on my list will help a great deal!
