My Project
Help me give my students hands-on STEM tools to spark creativity and problem-solving. I teach 4th-grade STEM at a KIPP charter school, where my students are eager to explore, build, and innovate. With your support, I can provide materials and flexible floor seating that make learning accessible, exciting, and meaningful. By gathering in a circle or small groups on the floor, students have more freedom to move, engage in hands-on activities, and participate in discussions without the barriers of traditional desks. This setup encourages curiosity, teamwork, and a sense of community, helping students feel more connected to their learning and each other. Floor seating supports our classroom’s focus on active learning and creates a welcoming environment where every voice is heard. These tools help my students think critically, collaborate, and see themselves as future engineers and scientists. Thank you for helping bring STEM to life in our classroom!
