My Students

This year the students will be focusing on the scientific method. They will begin to master the use of various scientific tools used during an experiment by lab and field scientists.

We have a culturally diverse group of students this year from all walks of life in this thriving urban, Title 1 school.

What unites our children is the strong sense of community we all share here at the school and in the surrounding supportive neighborhood.

My Project

This year we will focus on Life Science, Physical Science, and Earth Science. My students need Frey Scientific Microscopes, Microslides, and the Slide Microscope Bacteria Intro set to learn about life sciences this year. The students will have the opportunity to explore these topics through hands-on experience and experiments. In addition, the students are required to pass the New York State Science exam this year.

The microscopes, microslides, and scientific activities will help the kids to learn all of the essential science concepts they need as a foundation to thrive in preparation for 5th grade, state tests, middle school and life in general.
