My Students

Hands-on exploration is the best way to discover science concepts and to learn about the world around us!

My school is low-income, but the students are eager to learn!

We do not have a lot of resources to use for clubs. My students are eager to begin a club to study science concepts such as archeology and changes in the earth's surface. They also enjoy being challenged which is why we give them research projects to explore and then create presentations for.

My Project

My students need plant terrariums, a fossil set, and a science expedition set in order to learn and grow in our Science Club. These materials will be essential in beginning our new 4th grade Science club! We will use them to study archeology and biology. We will work on concepts such as growing plants, fossils, archeology, etc. We will be using them to learn about science concepts in a hands-on way. We will use a problem-based learning philosophy to help the students think at a higher level and draw conclusions. They will also be researching the concepts and then creating presentations to show their information. It will be an exciting adventure for our kids!

They will get to experience science in a whole new way. As a teacher, it is such a blessing to have people like to donate your money so that we can buy resources. Our students learn more and enjoy it too! We are very grateful! Thank you for considering our project!
