The students that come into my classroom every day are hungry for learning! Our school is very low socioeconomic and has a high mobility rate. The students don't have a lot of opportunities to experience technology outside of our school. They often come to me as struggling, below level readers. I have to try lots of things to get them interested in books. Also, they are often at many different reading levels. Our school is not able to provide much help with books and technology since we do not have a PTA or PTO. Even though my students come from not ideal situations, they are some of the most caring and kind students I have ever met. They want to learn, and I will do whatever neccessary to make sure that they are given every opportunity possible!!
