My Students
I have a class full of awesome kiddos who are excited about learning. They are self-motivated and goal-driven. They have a high ability to use technology in the classroom to further their learning.
Creating a positive, engaging classroom, where each student can be successful, no matter their individual struggles, is the goal in my classroom.
My students are eager to learn and become leaders of their own education. Fourth grade has a positive culture, where each student is accepted and appreciated.
My Project
The resources purchased with this grant will encourage reading at home by providing the books we use for a reading challenge at school. Students participate in our "Battle of the Books" competition by reading 20 books from our list. I want to encourage participation by having the books available for them in our classroom.
In order to have successful learners, you need to have appropriate resources for them.
The other resources purchased will be to promote math fluency. I want to get multiplication and division flash cards as well as math posters to help foster their love of learning. If students can quickly and accurately complete their math facts, they will have a solid foundation as we progress through harder math concepts.
