My Project

Games are a great way for students to practice their newly learned reading and math skills. Some students need extra help with graphic organizers and math manipulatives. My project has a variety of games, manipulatives and even cushions so they can sit on the floor in comfort to play them. My goal is to strengthen those skills in a safe, fun learning environment. In 4th grade they start to learn about fractions, division and multiplication. By the end of the year they will be doing multistep problems. Before I can teach that, we need to work on place value. In my project, I have asked for place value boards to help my students learn this skill. In reading, they need to be able to write a proper complete sentence. I have added a fun game involving capitalization and punctuation. Please help me fund my fun project for my 4th grade class. Thank you!
