I love that 4th graders are inherently curious and creative. Each year, a new group of students enters my classroom eager and ready to learn! I hope I can help spark their imaginations and and be an advocate for their learning. It is my goal this year to create readers that not only comprehend what they are reading, but also go further into inquiry. I wish I could give the world to my students. It is unbelievable what 4th graders are capable of!
Please help me in purchasing a new set of headphones for my classroom. This may not seem like a big ticket item, but they are really useful when students are working on various projects! There are so many programs and applications I can use with my students, especially English Language Learners, that will enhance their comprehension, pronunciation, and research skills. However, many of these programs require the use of headphones to allow students to hear individual directions and/ or read alouds. It will be beneficial for students to have their very own brand new pair of headphones to go along with their required work on their chromebooks!
