4th Grade Book Drive for Camp Fire Victims

My Students

Our love of education is deep! Our 4th grade team has come together to put a great reading plan into motion. With the devastation of the Camp Fire north of our Chico community, we thought it fitting to organize a book drive. Throughout my experiences in education READING is GOLD! My students need books to fill their minds with questions and adventures!

My students love sports, exercise, and creating projects.

Our school and faculty foster the mission that at our Elementary School, we assure high levels of learning for all students. We as a community are working together for excellence in education. Reading is such an important component to education. My classroom is ready to create, challenge, and promote student learning.

My Project

These books will make an incredible difference in the lives of students who have been affected by the Camp Fire. My classroom and our other two 4th grades will be presenting these wonderful books to those who lost much of everything just 1 month ago. As a 4th grade team we believe that a book drive is an attainable goal for us to be successful with! Throughout the month of December we have organized a great system to get new books to our amazing students and other students in the Northern California area. Thank you for your help in making this fundraiser a reality!
