My Students
My students attend a Title 1 Chicago Public School, 95% of the student population come from low-income families. They are a lively, hard-working, diverse group of students; a large portion of them are English Language Learners speaking several different languages.
My students need basic school supplies to ensure an equal opportunity learning environment.
Most do not have the luxury of purchasing these supplies on their own. In my class, I don't want students to have to worry about what they do not have in order to reach their fullest potential.
My Project
I am asking for donations for basic school supplies like notebooks, folders, and pencils to set my students up for a successful year! I also hope to provide them each with a planner to teach and encourage organization and responsibility.
Your donation will ensure that my students have the supplies they need to learn and succeed in school.
This project will ease some of the financial strain on my students and their families as well as guarantee a less stressful beginning of the year. These supplies will provide us what we need to kick off a productive 2018-2019 school year!
