My Students

Our prek program is a mix of special education students and regular ed students. Last school year, our school was doing 2 days of in person learning. A lot of our materials, used for fine and gross motor, was sent home for students to continue to learn with. Most items never came back to our classroom or were not in good repair. We also found our materials did not hold up with the analite being sprayed directly onto the materials. I am in need of replacement items.

My Project

This will help my students learn through hands on experiences and it will also help with listening skills. I have a lot of special education students who have a wide variety of needs. I will be able to use these materials in a wide variety of teaching institutions. Each child will be able learn with hands on, manipulate, small items, to pick up with their fingers. The students will match colors and shapes to help prepare them for a successful end to preschool and prepare them for kindergarten and a successful year.
