My Students
My students are always in awe when they see videos of orchestras and performing ensembles. This is their chance to be part of one with the right materials to help them learn!
In music class, my students explore singing, playing instruments, and all kinds of music in the world around them.
Many of my students come from struggling backgrounds and music class is really their only opportunity to experience what it feels like to make music. My students have seen videos of orchestras creating music together and using teamwork and determination to make that happen. I would like my students to have the opportunity to experience the amazing feeling of being part of an orchestra and playing music in one as well!
My Project
With these shoulder rests, my students will be able to enjoy learning how to play these instruments individually and as part of an ensemble with the proper technique. Shoulder rests are essential for each violin student, and this will let us start our journey as a string ensemble!
Playing an instrument with the proper learning materials and being part of an ensemble are unique opportunities that I want my students to have as they continue to grow as musicians.
