Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students make a big difference in my life. I love watching my students grow and learn everyday but they can't do that without proper supplies. My school is a title 1 , community school meaning our students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds. Some students at the beginning of the year can not afford the supplies. Basic ones like pencils to write woth, dry erase markers, or even headphones. All of these supplies help my students learn throughout the day.

Pencils are always used to write everyday.

But not all pencils are the best to write with. Ticonderoga are the best. We have dry erase tables my students use daily and many dry out quick. I want to make sure that my students have markers. We use our computers everyday for assignments and some require students to listen on the computer.
