I am starting to think of all the needs my incoming third graders will need to feel ready for the next year. Next month my students will be assigned into my classroom for the 24-25 school year. I want them to see name tags with their names, so they can already see their place in my classroom. Feeling secure about your teacher can help so much with the stress students feel over the summer.
Having all the essentials like Band Aids, Kleenex, lightbulbs, name tags, and liquid markers will be instrumental in getting my classroom ready for next year.
Students need to feel that their classrooms are a safe and comfortable place. I need to have Band Aids and Kleenex on hand to meet their health needs.
