This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are kind, friendly, and eager to learn. The pandemic has greatly effected my students. They struggle with basic literacy skills and need extra help to get caught up.

My students will love using their new phonics materials to build foundational reading skills that they are lacking due to the pandemic.

My students love working in an organized, bright, classroom. We need extra storage to keep all of our learning materials organized!

My students receive a free or reduced-price lunch and most come from low income households. I have many students in my class who do not have an English speaking parent at home.
