On a recent Wednesday morning, I was formally handed a neat stack of 20 very persuasive essays from a third grade class all imploring the same thing: "We need more tech books." And they are right! Technology titles in our collection need an update to include what the youngest generation is actually using!
These kiddos know what they want: books that reflect and teach them about the changing world around them!
They are curious about AI, want to know more about coding and want to get the top scores in their video games!
I want to show these thoughtful young readers that I am listening to their requests. This project will not only update our small technology section but will also show this class that their opinions are valued!
