My Students

Our elementary is located in Denver, with students from all different backgrounds. As an expeditionary learning school the teachers use expeditions outside of the classroom walls to help build community among their students while fostering a love for learning in all subject areas

The 3rd grade crews build community around their shared experiences, taking overnight expeditions is the backbone of fostering compassion for each other and a love of learning all around them.

Please help our three crews by donating to help each and every student be able to attend their overnight expedition.

My Project

We are excited to give all 3rd grade crews at our elementary the opportunity to apply their learning and skills they have learned in the classroom to the world outside of the school building. The classrooms have core values focused around expeditionary learning. This opportunity builds on their past outdoor expeditions and gives them a chance to broaden their independence while building on their WORLD CARE habits.

Taking this 2 night overnight expedition to The YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park is giving students of our school an amazing opportunity.
