My Project
The students in my class are from a low-income demographic area. There are many immigrants and transients. There isn't much money for extras. I use slates daily in my classroom for activators and informal assessments. So markers and erasers would really help my students.
The round cushions and rug would make it more comfortable for the students to focus and pay attention.
They would also be used daily for minilessons, read alouds, and independent reading.
The books would enhance our social emotional learning which is much needed with my population. I have a printer in my room for emergencies so copy paper is a must.
The above materials would enhance the classroom and make it a more comfortable educational atmosphere.
