Help me give my students get a 3D printer and various printing filament.
This project expired on April 5, 2019.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students live in a small community in Central Ohio with over 56% of our students living in poverty, with many even homeless. Our school, like others, is trying to provide our students with the best education possible and help set them up for lifelong success. We have been doing this by trying our best to teach to different learning styles, by individualizing learning, and incorporating technology and project-based learning whenever possible.
My school has recently switched to a hybrid educational model to engage, challenge, and enrich our students in the learning process through technology and project-based learning curriculum.
Students are constantly changing and so are we.
My students love problem solving and creating! I do my best to support these traits as they are lifelong skills that will help my students in any path they choose to take. One of the things they would love to work with when solving problems is a 3D printer! We would use the printer to print puzzle pieces, robotic pieces and atomic models! We are excited to hopefully add this to our room! We are asking for a 3D printer and for lots of filament to print with! We hope you will consider helping us solve problem with 3D printing.
