Help me give my students two 3D Printers for our new Maker Space.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Merlino's classroom raised $1,051
This project is fully funded
Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Having a 3D printer at our school will allow us to have a maker space where students can use tinkercad to design prototypes.
Students will be able to design or find parts to be used to fix things that would normally be thrown away and end up in the land fill.
Products that are 3D printed in generally would have a lower carbon footprint and the 3D printer could also allow us to design grow containers for seeds that can be used in the garden and the hydroponic grow system we have at school.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
