Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Finding a balance between team cooperation and goal oriented lesson plans push my students to help each other and as they grow their math, communication and spatial reasoning skills. Collaboration and metacognition reflection creates an environment where helping others help themselves. As my students get closer to their goals their belief that they can actually do math and 3D imaging increases exponentially. Many of my students have very little time and experience with 3D printing and application. Too often they have relied on others to do the work for them. I am inspiring my students to be leaders. A 3Drinter would inspire them to work together and be able to walk away with a tangible product.
