My Project
I have been teaching in my school's technology lab for over 10 years. During that time the school community has worked hard to provide updated technology and resources to our students. Through DonorsChoose and other grants, we have been fortunate enough to add multiple 3D printers and a vinyl cutter to the tech lab. In recognition of this, the school district chose our lab as one of the few to be refurbished complete with updated technology and furniture. Students have new computers, flexible seating, and more space to work. Unfortunately, we do not have a place to house our 3D printers, color laser printer, and vinyl cutter.
My students need shelving to create print stations in their tech lab!
The industrial shelving chosen for the tech lab is modular and will allow us to create a station where students can store our multiple printers and printer supplies. With the addition of the shelving, students can send their prints to the station, monitor the printing process, and learn how to change filament and vinyl for their prints.
