This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are beginning the process of funding 3D printers for our Innovation and Engineering in ELA project!
This project will provide our first 3D printer along with resources for developing financial literacy around project planning - students will engineer and plan project ideas with budget in mind.
While students engage in a deep dive around innovation and perseverance, they will develop knowledge around financial literacy, reading informational text, and working as engineering teams. We are highly motivated to get students working in this space, using their language arts knowledge and arts based skills and strategies.
Half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
