Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The printers and filament will allow students the ability to practice designing, modeling, and physically creating materials. For example, students may come across an issue such as missing a piece from an assembly while building furniture. By using these materials requested for my class, they will be able to design, model, and print the piece they may be missing. My goal is to ensure the students are given tools that they may benefit from utilizing in the real-world. My students are special as they come from lower socioeconomic environments and are currently attending a Title 1 school. They are aiming to do well in life and want to learn skills that will ensure they have better chances to obtain better jobs and careers.
