Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help get our students on the right path! Our school is small with 180 students preschool age to 8th grade. We are in a very rural area and are trying to bring Technology to our campus.

We are going to offer electives to our middle school students next year, this is the first time in years that electives have been offered and as you know offering electives to students is so important.

Electives help students learn about themselves and try new things, which help to expand their knowledge and imagination. By allowing our students to try new things it helps to increase their motivation and engagement.

3D printing was brought to our school once by a college professor and he showed our students how it worked and they enjoyed it. By me being able to teach children about 3D printing we are not only showing them how to print, we are teaching them how to use computer program, to program and edit their work and to show them that what they imagine in their minds and plan in a computer program can become a reality before their eyes.
