I am the science teacher for a public alternative special education high school. The students that I work with here struggle to be successful in a typical high school setting, have many challenges, and lack access to the full range of experiences they would have if they were attending our town’s main high school. As such, I am always looking for ways to increase engagement and find opportunities for them to be successful, especially by exposing them to new and varied experiences where they may discover latent talents and interests.
I would like to purchase this 3D printer so that our program can add an exciting new STEM elective option.
