This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Introducing an innovative project aimed at empowering students to tackle real-world city challenges using robotics and 3D printing technology!

Imagine a classroom where students become urban problem solvers, tasked with addressing the complex issue of moving objects within a city environment.

With our project, students will embark on an exciting journey, utilizing robots as their tools of change.

The core of our project lies in the Edison robot – a versatile, programmable robot that serves as the foundation for solving city problems. Equipped with coding skills, students will program these robots to operate cranes, bulldozers, or magnets, addressing various scenarios such as construction site logistics, waste management, or infrastructure maintenance.

But here's where the magic happens: our project doesn't just stop at programming. Students will leverage the power of 3D printing to design and create custom attachments for their Edison robots, enhancing their functionality and adaptability to specific tasks. Whether it's a precision claw for delicate lifting, a sturdy bulldozer blade for heavy-duty work, or a magnetic arm for efficient debris cleanup, the possibilities are limitless.

Through hands-on experimentation and creative problem-solving, students will not only develop essential STEM skills but also cultivate critical thinking, collaboration, and ingenuity. They'll experience the thrill of engineering solutions to real-world challenges, all while gaining a deeper understanding of how technology can shape the future of our cities.

By engaging in this project, students will emerge as empowered innovators ready to make a tangible impact on their communities. Join us in fostering the next generation of problem solvers and city builders with robotics and 3D printing!
