My Project
In today's technology-based world, having the skills to design and create things digitally is very important. 3D printing is a great way to learn about computer design software to be able to design something digitally. Then they are able to have a tangible creation, as well.
Students love to see the designs they have made come to life through 3D printing.
3D printing allows students to design creatively, as well as to be able to design objects that serve a purpose. There are so many applications for 3D printing in the real world. The opportunity to be exposed to 3D printing at a young age will allow my students to have a broader perspective of technology. We have access to multiple printers, but no where to have them all be useful at the same time. These shelves will allow us to use all of our resources more fully.
