My Students

Using paper and glue is great...but having the actual piece made by a 3D printer is better! "I may not be there yet, but I'm closer than I was yesterday!"

My students are thirsty for knowledge.

They are bright, gifted children and love to get their hands dirty. They enjoy watching their projects come to life and what better way to make that happen? 3D printers are the way to go now! They will be able to hold their ideas in their hand rather than drawing it.

My Project

A great example in my classroom of how this will be used is when we invent board games. Pieces can actually be made instead of stealing from other games or siblings! When we make our DNA molecules, we no longer will need to use marshmallows....we can MAKE the molecules!

My students lives will be forever changed by this printer and this opportunity.

In a gifted classroom, we study information deeply and have many hands on projects. To produce real results instead of a drawing or 2d image, they will have, in hand, their creation.
