My Project
As science teachers we are teaching our students different topics in science and we are also teaching students to become real life problem solvers. Through unpacking and diving into the NGSS Science Standards, we are teaching students science through a variety of approaches.
A Flashforge 3D printer will allow our students to create models to help explain science phenomenas.
As we teach our curriculum we often create projects for students to explain a concept and I believe that allowing students to design a model to help explain a concept would be a wonderful gift for our students. This printer will be accessible to all science students in all grades. We are fortunate enough to live in an area where 3D printing is up and coming in the world of regenative medicine and bio-printing to allow people to help improve their lives. The earlier we can introduce students to developing models through 3D printing we can excite them in the world of S.T.E.M. education.
