My Project
We are expanding our mini makerspace so students can work with technology and practice hands-on STEM and design skills. We got a 3D printer and now we need filament to use it!
A solid supply of PLA filament will allow all of our students to experiment with the 3D printer and leave room for practice and mistakes.
This will enable students to explore new ways of learning, and they will be able to use the printer to develop creative solutions to class assignments.
They will have access to 3D printing tutorials and the equipment during lunch and after school, and we will invite classes to the makerspace to work with the materials in conjunction with their curriculum and our student-led academic and cultural festivals. I am excited to see what students create for their classwork and the school community with this new tool!
