Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are at a Title I, low-income school and many receive free or reduced price lunch. Despite these challenges, they have very creative, inquisitive minds and are always excited to find new ways to learn. They love completing projects with a group or individually because they can express their individuality. They come to school excited and ready to learn.

The students I work with are excited to learn and love new experiences.

I am excited to continue encouraging their love of learning and reading by bringing new items into the classroom. This is a great way to keep them engaged and help foster their love of learning. My goal is to create a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.

My Project

Through project-based learning, students will be given opportunities to create their own products/inventions. With a 3D printer on hand, these students will be able to bring the creations to life. Our students do not have many opportunities to use STEM in real-world context.

With a 3D printer, real-world applications will be brought into the classroom.

Students will use their imagination and understanding of STEM ideas to create products that have actual use in the world.

Help bring these ideas to life and encourage students to learn through trial and error!
