My students need 3D pens to continue to explore their minds and make the imaginable come to life.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My 3rd grade classroom is comprised of students; many are immigrants and speak a language other than English at home, are gifted, or part of our special education programs.
I love the start of each day, students line up ready to get to class.
They smile because they know that something will happen. I keep them guessing at what new things I might try or how I will read, and even what I just might wear ( I came dressed as Dr. Seuss one day). These students have all different interests from playing sports to reading a good book, but they share a common bond, the bond of curiosity and that is truly an amazing gift.
My students live in a high poverty area in Arizona and our school is a Title I campus and 100% of the school is eligible for the free lunch program. Our focus goals are to greatly improve our writing and our math abilities, but a major focus is to improve our reading ability of fluency to comprehension in all aspects of our school and classroom.
Our belief is every student, every classroom, every day.
My Project
My students will bring imagination to life with the words that they say and the ideas they have. Communication is one of the hardest areas for students to achieve; they struggle with ways to express what they want to say. Students do not need complicated software, they can use their drawings, and their ability to have fun to create what comes to their minds and gives their words visuals. Being able to draw to help explain is huge, students will be able to make their drawings come to life and share what they wanted to express.
3Doodler pens will give each student a full hands-on experience from start to finish.
Many times students have a hard time explaining a project or an idea that won't leave their minds. Students get practice in the Art of education, which helps students enjoy learning about other subjects many times without the pressures that come with learning. It becomes fun and engaging, giving students another route to knowledge and sharing.
