My Students
The vibration that our students are surrounded by needs to be lifted. Our young children overhear the news, parent conversations, media, and the list goes on. That is why creating an exciting, analytical, innovative, tolerant classroom is my mission.
My students come from all over the world.
The level of diversity in my classroom is arguably one of the most diverse in the world. My students come from America, Korea, China, India, Mexico, and the list goes on. I am eager to create unifying experiences that can engage both their minds and social abilities.These children differ academically, economically, racially, linguistically and culturally. We all have so much to learn from each other's differences.
My Project
The potential is limitless with the funding of this grant! The students (and I) can continue to create infinite possibilities with 3D printing technologies. Instructional lessons can include mathematical concepts of solid shape attributes, engineering concepts of structure and stability, solutions to a real-world problem like the inventions of prosthetics and 3D printed houses.
Imagine if all students in our school could have access to 3D printing materials!
If this grant is funded, students will have access to the 3D printer in the computer lab. I will also be happy to demonstrate the functionality of this cutting edge technology to other teachers as well.
