This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My art club students love experimenting with different types of art in our after-school art club! They've explored a huge variety of mediums, but one area they want to learn more about is creating 3D art.

Because my students are so eager to work with 3D art, I want to help them begin by interacting with 3D art pens.

The set of pens I'm requesting, along with the filament refills, will allow my students to work in small groups to investigate how they can construct 3D artwork. They will have opportunities to brainstorm the types of products that can be created with these tools along with strategies for creating. And eventually, my goal will be to help students use what they learn from these experiences to begin working with 3D printers later!

Since I can't afford to finance these 3D pens and filament refills out of my own pocket (and my school does not have a budget for club materials), I'm requesting any help you can provide to allow my budding artists to learn and create!
