My Students
My students are always looking for new ways to express what they learn using various types of technologies. 3D pen creations are more examples of great ways to draw my students into their learning, and utilize more learning styles.
I teach 8th graders in inner-city Canton, Ohio.
This is an urban area that would qualify as economically disadvantaged. My students are almost all college-bound, and many of them will be the first person in their family to do so. They are amazing kids, capable of fantastic things, when properly motivated.
My Project
My students will use the 3Doodler Pen, as well as the accessories, to create 3-Dimensional projects to accentuate and show proof of what they have learned in class or as independent study projects. This all will combine in the form of a community presentation that we call, "Night at the Museum," which we display for the public to see. It is a fantastic showcase for our students learning, and I foresee these tools to be a big part of that.
Donations to this project will assist our students to be able to follow their talents and learning styles to show that they are very capable of learning their history, but also, it will motivate them to be excited about what they learn, because they get to use a tool like a 3Doodler.
