My Students

I have a special group of thirty students this year. They’re kind, hard working, innovative, encouraging, and eager to learn. These students come from all different backgrounds, cultures, and even countries! Additionally, I have an inclusion classroom so we have some friends with special education services. I am constantly blown away with this groups love for learning. If you ask them what they’re favorite thing about first grade is, they all say “computers!” They love using technology in the classroom to help them grow in their learning!

My Project

With 30 first graders this year, our classroom is a very active place. My students love the flexible seating options I have already in the classroom. They love getting to spread out and have a choice in their favorite learning space. However, I don’t have enough seating options for all 30 kids. I need your help to provide more spaces for them to learn. I also have some very active students. The wiggle seats will help them focus during our whole group lessons. These flexible seating options will be enjoyed by not only this group of students, but future students too!
