West Pine Middle School strives to help each and every student have a successful school experience. However, sometimes that experience is hindered simply by the fact that some students' parents/guardians do not have enough financial means to buy their students school supplies. All of our classes ask students to have either 1 or 2 inch binders, which are typically the most expensive school supply they will need. At the beginning of the year we are fortunate to have the Junior League and an organization called Communities in Schools provide us with school supplies, however, second semester is about to start and we are completely out of 3 ring binders. Many of the students' binders are broken and need to be replaced, but many parents cannot afford new ones. Ensuring all of our students have the proper school supplies will help us see that our students are prepared and are successful. I am requesting a donation of 1 and 2 inch binders.
