My Project
Our children are just starting their school experience. They are feeling many different emotions and need assistance to help talk about how they are feeling.
They need to express how they are feeling and how feelings can change throughout the day.
We can explore how they are feeling by using sensory materials and books to help say what they are feeling.
They will know that it is fine to feel afraid, happy, mad, excited, and scared and that we all have feelings like that. Children need to be accepted for what they are feeling and how to deal with their own emotions, and it is fine to talk about how they are feeling.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
