My Project
I love being able to incorporate STEM activities in my classroom. Students enjoy learning about science and technology more when they can have a hands-on approach. Our current printer is not working and the parts that we have replaced have not fixed our issue. The students love learning about and watching the magic of the printer.
Students learn through exploration, so I enjoy letting students try out designing items to bring their ideas to life.
This project will not only replace but update our current machine so that we can continue to spark curiosity in students about STEM. Girls Who Code is our after-school program for third through fifth grade girls to learn some coding abilities and other related skills. They also benefit by designing items to be printed. I strive to give students memories and spark their interests in an effort to help foster a love for learning they will hold onto throughout the rest of their schooling.
