Our school is unique as it is a K-8 building. We are able to collaborate across the grade levels and build connections between the elementary and middle school students. Our students may learn in different ways but all deserve the opportunity to be prepared for the future with access to current technology.
Our 300+ students will all benefit from the addition of a 3-D printer to make their ideas come to life.
We recently built a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) lab and want to add a 3-D printer to take it to the next level! Students are more engaged with hands on learning and enjoy being inventors.
Students will be able to make models of what they are learning and turn their sketches into 3-D objects! Using the Dremel 3D20 printer, students will also incorporate math to make items to scale and use the software to design.
Our STEM lab is focused on hands on learning and the Dremel 3D20 printer will give students the chance to be inventors.
A 3-D printer can be used by any class and subject matter. K-8 students will all be able to use the printer as needed. As we explore the 3-D printer software and capabilities I know students will have ideas to create products we haven't even thought of yet!
