My Students

Students in my classroom are hard workers and have many strengths. They require a modified curriculum and different accommodations throughout the day. Stations and hands-on-materials are the best way to teach the students' individual needs. With more than 76% of the students in my school receiving free or reduced-price lunch, most of the students come from low-income houses. The teachers supply most of the materials.

In my classroom, having a 3-D printer will allow the opportunity for the students to watch their imaginations come to life!

My Project

3-D printing is a technology that scientists and engineers are using to change the world!

I will be putting, new technology into the hands of my students so they can watch their imaginations come to life.

They will learn empathy, teamwork, and problem solving. It will give us a tiny manufacturing plant and prototyping tool right inside our classroom giving the students a look into future careers and inventions.

In our classroom we follow the grade level curriculum with many modifications and accommodations. The number one tool is hands on materials. A 3-D printer will give the students an opportunity to make the curriculum come to life with all different kinds of creations!
