3! 2! 1! Blast Off to Organization With the Rocketbook!
Help me give my students the chance to keep me organized in order to help them stay organized by using a note taking device that can upload to the computer.
Our community reflects the negative impact of closed factories with household incomes 38% below the state average. Our high school only has a 77% graduation rate. Nearly 63% of our students are economically disadvantaged and almost one-fifth are identified as having a disability.
Limited by generational poverty, my students have few real-world experiences.
These factors, combined with the English Language Learners and migrant students, make learning a challenge for both students and teachers. I am dedicated to instilling in my students a desire to learn and to persevere. Inspiring students to meet rigorous academic standards and create their own futures is my goal. I am passionate about making a difference in my community by helping my students. It is also problematic as funds for professional development and resources are limited. With a school that qualifies for approximately 75% free and reduced price lunch, a lot of students are reluctant to read and write to any extent. My students are awesome and I will try to help them in any way possible.
My Project
The Rocketbook will digitize notes that are taken in the notebook. All one has to do is take notes at a conference, write a poem, make lesson plans, or write a to do list for class assignments. After that, all that needs to be finished is taking a picture of the notes and it is automatically uploaded to the computer. This is a great way to store important information.
All teachers need a Rocketbook to make organization within the classroom and at conferences easier and more manageable.
It is very lightweight and easy to carry around school. The Rocketbook is the latest trend in technology.
