My students are amazing. They are becoming lifelong learners in the neighborhood that I live, and raise my family in. They are on the threshold of becoming outstanding readers, writers, and mathematicians. They are curious about life and come in each day excited to learn. They are getting ready to become citizens in the 21st century. I am excited to be with them at the beginning of their education.
I have found that technology excites my students.
They love to use it to research things they want to learn about, use educational websites and present what they have learned to their friends.
My students must keep up with technology in their lives. My students are used to playing video games on computers, but are at a loss on how to use it to help them become better readers and writers!
Technology is the gateway to learning in the 21st century!
Students, at young ages, are expected to be able to use a computer to aid in their learning. I am asking for seven chromebooks for my classroom so my students can learn keyboarding, researching and writing skills. Students are expected to research, read, and take tests on computers as early as first grade.
My students love to be able to use technology to learn. Help give them the chance to learn with technology.
