My Students

Students that have a desire to learn about so many things but not always the means to see them first hand. Real life topics such as animals and places are amazing ways to bring enjoyment to learning and motivated students to push their abilities. These students do not have the means to travel and many will never see the ocean or ride on an airplane. There worries are with when they will get their next meal, find a safe place to sleep or find clothes to wear everyday.

Through all of their disadvantages, these amazing students are hungry for knowledge.

Every opportunity they can get to be apart of new and exciting adventures they will try for.

My Project

Many of my students connect with TV's, computers, phones and tablets for their daily lives. What a great way to help them connect with information in the classroom as well. My students will be able to collaborate with each other, myself and even students in other parts of the world using a television that is set up for Google Casting. Now, the television can bring this to the classroom and is a platform that is safe and managed by a teacher.

Students of today need relevant learning platforms to help project them into their future.

Preparing with current technology can give each student the advantage of what ever changing technology brings them. My generation had the internet and now my current students have access to one device. If I am able to give them the opportunity to more than one device, they can easily integrate what new device comes next.
