My Project

What I love about my incoming 2nd graders is that I had the opportunity to be most of their Reading Intervention teacher last year. I am pleased to be teaching my first content class of 2nd grade. They are all special to me, and I enjoy sharing my love of my teaching each day. The donations I have ordered will teach my scholars responsibility, taking care of their school things.

Being organized also teaches scholars respect, independence, and how to take pride in their personal space.

Paper trays will give the finished work home. The pencil pouches will teach scholars to take care of their pencils and other items in the pouches. The adhesive labels will house their logins for all school-approved apps the scholars will be using. The sheet protectors will hold essential papers in their homework binders and double up as tracing sheets. Finally, the wireless doorbell will act as an attention-getter in my classroom. I will teach my scholars to listen for the sound; when they hear it, they know the chime is their signal to turn their attention to me. Then, all eyes were on the teacher. 2nd grade is going to be a fantastic school year!
