My Project

The workbooks in this project will allow me to mass copy activities for students to complete independently. This will give them more academic support with equations and word problems that they normally struggle with. This extra practice will really support my students in achieving their academic goals. The manipulatives for place values will serve as a teacher model for students to see when I demonstrate a problem or topic, they are going to complete themselves. The goal of this project is to really support my students as they learn place value, and as they academically succeed with addition, as well as subtraction. There are a few other tools in this project such as a calendar that will allow my students to know what lesson we are doing on what day, a timer for my whiteboard, so that students able to see how much time they have left to complete a task, as well as bag to organize student materials to make them more accessible for each student to be responsible for. I have students that are 1 to 2 grade levels below academic level for a second grade, and I believe that with these materials, I will be able to help them get on grade level.
